Job types at GWG Rentals
Sales
The Sales position is one of the primary customer service agents at the branch location. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for a variety of branch operational functions, including counter sales and customer relations, showroom displays and equipment presentation. The outside sales representative works a territory and is assigned commercial accounts. Both positions primary objective is to proactively increase equipment rental and sales revenue for the branch, through servicing rental orders, advising Branch Manager of rental needs, and providing quality customer service thus increasing branch profitability.
Service (Mechanics)
Mechanics maintain and repair a variety of construction equipment and tools to ensure their safe operation and customer readiness for rental or purchase. A majority of assignments will be major, more complicated, heavy equipment. The position requires mechanical background of various engines with the ability to also diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems. We also require mechanics with a competent understanding of small engines and small tools.
Administrative
We are always looking for support indivudals that work in the corporate office and support our branch operations. Office work, accounting, payroll, marketing are a few areas that we hire for. Call us for current open employment postions.
Management
The Branch Manager and Managers in training, under the direction of company ownership ensures that the branch is dedicated to meeting the equipment rental needs of the construction industry, industrial and commercial companies, and homeowners. The Branch Management must direct the supervision of the branch to ensure its smooth operation and profitability. The success and dedication of our Branch Management is a important and critical part of GWG Rentals daily operation.
Drivers
Drivers deliver equipment to and pick up equipment from customers. Drivers may operate a variety of construction rental equipment, depending on the driver’s job classification and type of license. Tractor-Trailer Drivers are permitted to operate heavy equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers (“low-boys”) consistent with classification. The primary objective of the driver is to meet the immediate equipment needs of customers through delivery of that equipment in a safe and timely manner.
Other Branch Operations
Yardpersons perform a variety of manual tasks in the rental yard in support of the entire branch operation. The primary objective of the Yardperson is to provide labor assistance to mechanics, sales staff and other branch personnel in order to meet the needs of customers. For those looking enter the rental industry this is a great position to start learning the business.
